Our Story
Where stories meet coffee.
"We built Readers Cafe for the kind of afternoon that disappears into a good book and a slow cup of coffee."
It started with a simple frustration — too many cafés are loud, rushed, and built for turnover. We wanted the opposite: a calm, generous space where you could stay as long as you liked, where the lighting was soft, the coffee was serious, and the bookshelf was always within reach.
Set just off the lake in Pokhara, our room is warm wood, worn-in armchairs, and hundreds of books waiting to be borrowed. Students, writers, travellers, and old friends all find their corner here.

WHAT WE BELIEVE
Three small principles
01
Coffee with intent
Single-origin beans, sourced thoughtfully and brewed by hand. No rush, no shortcuts.
02
Room to stay
No time limits, no hovering. Order a cup and stay for a chapter — or three.
03
A shared shelf
Borrow a book, leave a note, swap a recommendation. The library belongs to all of us.
Come find your corner.
A refined space for readers and coffee lovers — open every day.
